What are the air freight prices and shipping costs?

In air freight shipping, volume and weight are crucial factors. Airlines charge by chargeable weight, which is either the dimensional weight or the actual weight, whichever is higher.

In air freight, the chargeable weight is calculated as 1 m³ = 167 kg.

Depending on the shipping incoterms, additional factors may influence the main air freight rate. These can include fuel surcharges, security surcharges, customs brokerage, pick-up and delivery fees, terminal handling, documentation, dangerous goods surcharges, storage, airport transfers, EDI, etc.
